Zellige, Tifinagh… Morocco’s jerseys are full of symbols!
The new Atlas Lions jerseys in anticipation of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) Morocco 2025 were unveiled Monday at Rabat-Salé airport. They are the result of a collaboration between Puma, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Royal Air Maroc and Planet Sport.
Designed by Puma and designer Abderrahmane Trabsini, the new Morocco team jerseys highlight the richness of Moroccan cultural heritage. The home kit features patterns inspired by geometric designs and Moroccan zellige tiles, with the five-pointed star of the Moroccan flag in the center. On the away kit, we see embroidery and symbols inspired by Amazigh craftsmanship, as well as patterns inspired by Moroccan cultural heritage, and a red and green palette, referring to the colors of the national flag. As for the Tifinagh on the back of the jersey, it is a tribute to the rich history and cultural diversity of the kingdom.
