Zakaria El Ouahdi prefers Morocco to Belgium

Zakaria El Ouahdi put an end to rumors about his choice to play for Belgium, to the detriment of the Atlas Lions. In a statement to the press, the Belgian-Moroccan striker reaffirmed his attachment to the Moroccan national team.

“Even if I was told that I would have a 100% starting place in the Belgium team, while my chances with Morocco would not exceed 10%, it would be difficult for me to change my choice. I want to give everything I have to get my chance with the Lions,” said Zakaria El Ouhadi in an interview with Belgian media Nieuwsblad.
