YouTube removes Algerian hit for plagiarizing Moroccan song

Two weeks ago, YouTube removed the Algerian song “Khelli Zman Ydor”, released on March 4, following allegations of plagiarism of a Moroccan song.

“I just logged into Instagram, and I saw the post by Jam and TiMoh who say that the music video for their song “Khelli Zman Ydor” was removed from YouTube following complaints in which people reported that the song was not Algerian, that it was plagiarized from other songs,” wrote Algerian content creator Iyasoony in a post cited by TSA Algeria.
