Works in Morocco: without insurance, more permit!

Since December 30, 2024, insurance “all risks of work” and “ten -year civil liability” have been compulsory for the construction sector in Morocco. The measure aims to guarantee the safety of projects and stakeholders.

This measure “follows from the publication of two ministerial orders in the official bulletin. The first concerns insurance-related insurance, while the second establishes the general typical conditions applicable to TRC and RCD contracts. These texts, drawn up on the proposal of the ACAPS and in accordance with the insurance code, define the main parameters of these insurances, in particular guarantee ceilings, franchises, exclusions and the applicable general conditions ”, writes Challenge.
