Why do Moroccans flee their country for vacation?

In Morocco, domestic tourism is in decline. The proof is that a considerable number of Moroccans have chosen to spend their holidays outside the kingdom this summer. A trend that raises concerns and also reveals the ineffectiveness of public policy in terms of tourism.

In July, many Moroccans left Morocco to spend their summer holidays in Europe, mainly in the south of Spain. This rush towards the Iberian Peninsula, but also Turkey and Portugal, continued in this month of August.
