We know a little more about the attack on Lamine Yamal’s father

There is news in the case of Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Lamine Yamal, who was the victim of a knife attack on Wednesday night in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataró (Barcelona). According to the results of the preliminary investigation carried out by the Mossos d’Esquadra, the three suspects arrested had planned to assassinate the football star’s father.

The three suspects, who are Spanish nationals and members of the same family, are not known to the judicial services or the police. According to La Vanguardia, they live in the same Rocafonda neighborhood as the victim with whom they had an argument on Wednesday afternoon. After being separated by patrols from the local police in Mataró, the suspects asked Yamal’s father to meet them in the evening in a parking lot to “make peace.” When they arrived, Mounir Nasraoui was surrounded by the suspects, then beaten and stabbed twice in the abdomen.
