Walid Regragui’s new tracks for the Moroccan team

Walid Regragui is working hard to build a competitive team on the international scene. His objective: the next African Cup and qualifications for the 2026 World Cup. To achieve this, the coach travels across Europe and the Arab world, meeting experienced players and young talents.

Among the targeted players, Sofiane Diop, 23, is currently shining in Ligue 1 with OGC Nice. This binational player (Moroccan and Senegalese) opted for the Atlas Lions, thus abandoning the French team and Senegal. Author of very good performances, notably during the last match against Strasbourg, he was selected in the standard team of the Ligue 1 day.
