Walid Regragui sets new goals

While waiting for the return of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers next March, Walid Regragui, coach of the Morocco team, has set himself new goals. Automatically qualified for the African Cup of Nations (CAN Morocco 2025), the Atlas Lions beat the Panthers of Gabon and Lesotho on the first day and second day of the qualifiers for the African tournament.

“The idea is to give everyone playing time to be able to take stock after this September window. The objective is to look at the reality of the African Cup of Nations until next March and that leaves us little time. We hope to maintain the course in attack and score as much. Not conceding is not really very important, because we still have time to risk things on this aspect between now and the CAN,” declared Walid Regragui during a press conference held on Sunday at the conference room of the large stadium of Agadir.
