Violence in Marrakech: a young woman victim of a taxi driver

Marrakchis and tourists visiting the ochre city continue to suffer the rude behavior of some taxi drivers. A young woman said she was assaulted by one of them on Sunday.

The victim told Kech24 having taken a taxi on Sunday night to take a friend home and run an errand. As he finished dropping the friend off at her home, the driver began to verbally abuse the young woman and asked her to get out of the vehicle, indicating that he no longer wished to drive her to the agreed destination.
