Vast police campaign in Marrakech: hundreds of arrests

A vast police operation carried out in the medina of Marrakesh made it possible to lay hands on numerous individuals involved in various offenses. Narcotics, attacks on public morals and traffic offenses are at the heart of the crimes observed.

No less than 87 people wanted nationally and 759 others locally were arrested from August 24 to November 7, 2024. The police also got their hands on large quantities of drugs: 8.5 kg of resin cannabis, 13 capsules of cocaine, 6,751 hallucinogenic tablets, 33 tubes of glue and more than 9,500 liters of adulterated alcohol (Mahia).
