Urban transport in Casablanca-Settat: 930 new buses

The Casablanca-Settat Regional Council has validated an important project of partnership agreement for the financing of urban transport by bus. This agreement, which will apply from 2025 to 2029, defines the methods of implementing a new contractual model of delegated management, involving the various local authorities in the region.

The investment of this project lies in the acquisition of 930 new buses, which will circulate in the cities of Casablanca, Benslimane, Sidi Bennour, Settat and El Jadida. In addition to vehicles, the program includes the installation of operating and information aid systems (SAEIV), modern ticketing systems, as well as deposits, bus stops and maintenance centers .
