UK issues travel warning for Morocco
The Foreign Office has placed several countries including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Iran on the list destinations that its nationals must avoid due to the risk of intensification of the conflict between Tel Aviv and Tehran.
The UK has updated its alert level for foreign travel. The Foreign Office has advised British holidaymakers and tourists traveling to 18 countries: Morocco, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait , in the occupied Palestinian territories, Israel, Libya, Iran, Lebanon and Syria, to exercise caution. This new alert is motivated by serious developments in tensions between the Jewish state and Iran. The Foreign Office warns travelers of the risk of regional escalation of violence.
