U20 World Cup: New disappointment for Moroccan women

The Atlas Lions failed to turn things around in their second match of the U20 Women’s World Cup, suffering a 2-0 defeat to the United States on Wednesday night at the Estadio Olimpico Pascual Guerrero in Cali.

The Americans, thanks to goals from Yuna McCormack and Maddie Dahlien, secured their first victory in the tournament. The Moroccans, despite a solid defense for much of the match, cracked at the start of the second half and then in stoppage time.
