Travel to Algeria not recommended for Moroccans

Algeria is no longer a safe destination for Moroccans. The Moroccan League for the Defense of Human Rights strongly advises nationals of the kingdom, and in particular artisans and entrepreneurs, not to travel to this neighboring country for the moment in order to preserve their security.

“Algeria is no longer a safe country from a human rights perspective, particularly for traditional Moroccan artisans, entrepreneurs and artisans, or even for those who wish to visit this country for family reasons, and who find themselves exposed to arbitrary arrests and unfair trials,” the association said in a statement.
