Train ticket prices: Moroccans are angry

Already faced with a general increase in prices, Moroccans must now face an increase in train ticket prices. This decision by the National Railways Office (ONCF) has sparked anger among users and some parliamentarians.

Fatima Tamni, a member of parliament for the Federation of the Democratic Left, did not mince her words. In a letter addressed to the Minister of Transport and Logistics, she denounced a decision taken “without notice” and which “burdens the budget of travelers.”
