A French racing driver died following an accident on Monday during the Rallye du Maroc near Zagora.
The world of motorsport is in mourning. In a press release published on social networks, the organizers of the Morocco rally announced that French driver Frédéric Baudry, 46, who was participating in the event for the second time, was the victim of an accident in the dunes. Unfortunately, the French pilot succumbed to his injuries. “He was quickly taken care of by the doctors of a medical helicopter who transported him to Zagora hospital where he unfortunately died at 4:45 p.m.,” specify the organizers, presenting “their sincere condolences to his family and his loved ones.”
