Seven individuals arrested at the beginning of the year for their alleged involvement in a network trafficking young Moroccan girls to Turkey have just been brought before the Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal in Rabat.
Since their arrest by the Moroccan authorities, in coordination with Interpol, this is the first time that the defendants, detained in El Arjate prison, have been brought before an investigating judge. The seven accused, “four Turkish individuals and three Moroccan individuals, including a woman in her thirties”, were subjected to a lengthy interrogation, sources indicate to the daily Al-Akhbar.
