Tours: Hassle for a flight from Marrakech

A Ryanair plane from Marrakech to Tours was diverted to Rennes on Saturday, due to unfavorable weather conditions.

With 130 passengers on board, the plane took off from Marrakech airport at 6:30 a.m. and arrived in Tours a little after 9 a.m. But due to fog he could not land. “We arrived in Tours around 9:05 a.m. as planned. At that moment, the pilot, who was really great, announced to us on the microphone that he was unable to land. He did two attempts, each time commenting on what he was doing,” he told The New RepublicKambiz, a passenger, resident of Chanceaux-sur-Choisille.
