Tourist Reports Harassment in Chefchaouen, Suspect Arrested

Elements of the National Security Directorate (DGSN) managed to arrest an individual whom a foreign tourist, in a video widely circulated on social networks, accused of harassment while she was taking photos during a visit to Chefchaouen.

Technical expertise shows that the recording and broadcast of this video dates back to May 2023. At that time, the tourist was staying in Morocco and had not filed any complaints regarding these acts with the police, the DGSN said.
