Tourism in Morocco: Summer 2024 exceeds all expectations
The signs are green for Moroccan tourism. After a record summer season, the outlook looks “promising” for the sector, said Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy.
“Although we are still in the consolidation phase of all the indicators, the preliminary data for the 2024 summer season show a positive assessment,” assured Fatim-Zahra Ammor in a statement to the MAPannouncing “promising” prospects for Moroccan tourism in light of the national strategy and the significant investments planned for the sector within the framework of the 2025 finance bill (PLF), without forgetting global sporting events such as the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup which will attract many visitors to the kingdom.
