Torrential rains devastate several Moroccan regions

Torrential rains hit the Drâa-Tafilalet region on Friday, causing significant material damage and preventing traffic on several roads.

These violent storms damaged several homes and caused power outages and communications in several douars. Videos showing the damage caused by these torrential rains have gone viral on social networks. In the images shared by Internet users, we can see the valleys of M’Goun and Dadès, as well as the streets of Tinghir completely flooded. In Kelaa M’Gouna and neighboring regions, the floods led to power outages, drinking water and internet.
