The wind sows the mess at Tangier airport

Violent gusts of wind swept the north of Morocco this Monday morning, disturbing air traffic and causing the downturn of several flights to Tangier. Ibn Battouta airport had to resolve to redirect planes to other platforms in the country.

Among the flights affected, there is in particular the flight to 3074 of the company Transavia from Paris, forced to land in Rabat. The passengers of the FR8628 flight from Ryanair, who left Memmingen in Germany, were redirected to Nador’s airport.
