The transformed Rabat cornice

The development work on the Bouregreg cornice in Rabat has recently started. Lasting 14 months, it should be completed before the 2025 African Cup of Nations scheduled to be held in Morocco.

Recently launched, this work is part of the dynamic of infrastructure development in the cities of Rabat and Salé, in anticipation of the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup. With an estimated cost of 190 million dirhams, the Bouregreg River cornice development project aims to improve the tourist offering of the two cities, by providing them with spaces for relaxation, leisure and cultural activities, and contribute to the protection of natural resources and the preservation of the environment.
