The TGV and RER arrive in Marrakech

Morocco aims to modernize its railway network, in anticipation of the 2030 World Cup. The project to extend the high-speed line (LGV) to Marrakech is part of this dynamic.

As part of this project, the National Railway Office (ONCF) plans the construction of 18 new LGV and RER stations in Marrakech, informs The Deskspecifying that this project aims to interconnect the transport networks of the ocher city and those of the Marrakech-Safi region in order to strengthen the economy and regional accessibility. Thus, Marrakech will have a second LGV station and four RER stations distributed in strategic areas.
