The Tangier-Tetouan highway formalized

The Ministry of Equipment and Water is working to build a highway between Tangier and Tetouan to then connect Fnideq, which already exists. In this sense, the department of Nizar Baraka is launching studies to define a highway axis with a high level of service between Tangier and Tetouan.

A step taken for the project to connect the highway of the city of the strait with that of Tetouan-Fnideq. The Ministry of Equipment and Water will soon launch studies for the construction of this infrastructure. “As part of the development and modernization of the national road network, the Ministry of Equipment and Water is working to improve travel conditions for users by implementing several ambitious programs whose main axes today are centered around the user, their safety and their needs. The Tangier-Tétouan highway with its connection to the Tétouan-Fnideq highway would strengthen the transport offer of the Tangier metropolis and adjacent cities, and would support the significant growth recorded in the project area,” explained the department of Nizar Baraka.
