An unsuccessful candidate in the 2012 local elections where she obtained 335 votes, Latifa El Hammoud has decided to try her luck again in the next elections on the Mayor’s List in Schaerbeek. Born in Morocco, this fifty-year-old from Tangier was elected to the Moroccan parliament in 2016 under the banner of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM). During her term, she sat on the Foreign Affairs, Moroccans Living Abroad, Defense and Islamic Affairs Committees.
