The rush of Spanish companies to Morocco accelerates

More Spanish companies are flocking to Morocco where environmental and tax regulations seem more flexible than those of the European Union.

Several Spanish companies have chosen to relocate part of their production to Morocco to escape the European Green Deal and take advantage of the cheap labor, tax advantages and flexible environmental regulations that the kingdom offers. Among the companies that have decided to set up in Morocco are giants of the agri-food sector such as Borges, Juver and Ebro Foods, which seek to optimize their operating costs and continue their international expansion.
