The desire to emigrate among young people and people with a university degree from MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries remains. About 35% of Moroccans want to leave the kingdom, compared to 46% in Tunisia, 42% in Jordan and 38% in Lebanon.
About 35% of Moroccans (one in three Moroccans) want to emigrate, reveals a new opinion poll conducted by the Arab Migration Barometer. 26% of Moroccans said they want to migrate to the United States, 23% want to settle in Canada and France, 19% have opted for Germany and only 2% and 5% want to leave Morocco to go to Saudi Arabia and Qatar respectively.
