The planned Al Hoceima – Nador highway will wait

The project to transform the coastal road linking Nador to Al Hoceïma into a highway is well underway. This was announced by the regional director of Equipment and Water during the recent session of the Al Hoceïma provincial council.

Initially planned to start soon, the project was however ruled out by the Ministry of Equipment. According to its representative in Al Hoceïma, this decision follows a review of infrastructure priorities. The ministry will now focus its efforts on the construction of a road section between Aït Saïd (Driouch province) and Al Aroui (Nador province).
