This is the Al Quaraouiyine University in FezBuilt in 859 under the reign of the Idrisid dynasty, the university has seen the greatest Arab philosophers pass through, such as Averroes (Ibn Rochd) and Avempace (Ibn Baja), as well as Ibn Khaldoun.
