The body of Abdelaziz Barrada repatriated to Morocco
The native village ofAbdelaziz Barrada, Douar Aït Abdallah, in the commune of Khemis Dades in Kalaat M’Gouna, is preparing to welcome the remains of the country’s child, who died suddenly in France at the age of 35. The former Moroccan international died of a heart attack last Thursday at his home.
If the native village awaits his return, administrative obstacles delay the repatriation of the body. Abdelaziz Barrada had dual French-Moroccan nationality, which makes certain procedures more difficult. A relative of the family indicated that the necessary documents should be obtained this Saturday or next Monday at the latest.
