TGV Kenitra-Marrakech: France crushes Spanish competition

The information that the Spanish public consultancy firm Ineco won the strategic contract for assistance with project management from the ONCF for the extension of the High Speed ​​Line to Marrakech ahead of the French company Egis Rail is inaccurate.

The strategic contract for assistance with project management by the ONCF for the extension of the High Speed ​​Line to Marrakech was instead awarded to the Egis-Systra-Novec consortium, reports Information about Africa. Paradox: this consortium led by the French Egis Rail won this contract by offering 1.385 billion dirhams ahead of Ineco (1.309 billion dirhams), or nearly 80 million dirhams more. Egis-Systra-Novec’s mission will consist of advising the project owner, ONCF, on the infrastructure projects of the LGV between Kenitra and Marrakech, for a contract estimated at 1.4 billion dirhams.
