All eyes are on the National Railway Office (ONCF) which will announce in the coming weeks the name of the multinational which will supply the trains for the future Kenitra-Marrakech TGV line. The French giant Alstom should win this mega market.
After the Casablanca trams in 2016 and the trains serving the Tangier-Kénitra line since November 2018, Alstom is keen to win the contract to supply trains for the future Kénitra-Marrakech TGV line. The National Railway Office (ONCF) has launched a $1.6 billion call for tenders for the supply of 168 trains, and the French giant intends to win this mega market.
