Tetouan airport paralyzed

Disruptions were recorded on Sunday at Saniat Rmel International Airport in Tetouan where several flights were unable to land due to unfavorable weather conditions.

A thick fog covered the city all day Sunday, preventing several planes from landing at Saniat Rmel airport. A Ryanair Boeing 737-BAS from Marseille was diverted to Tangier Ibn Battouta International Airport after two failed landing attempts at Saniat Rmel. Similarly, an Air Arabia plane, an Airbus A320-214, from Barcelona was forced to deviate from its trajectory to land at Tangier airport.
