Tax fraud in Morocco: doctors and engineers targeted

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) tracks down fraudulent doctors and engineers. The latter were subject to tax audits, after the tax administration noted significant discrepancies between declared income and high expenses incurred, particularly during vacations abroad.

These doctors and engineers are suspected of tax fraud. Supporting evidence, the DGI demonstrated that they made false declarations to the tax administration on their income and expenses incurred during vacations abroad.
