Tax amnesty in Morocco: a historic success for undeclared assets

In Morocco, the tax amnesty on undeclared assets for the year 2024 makes it possible to regularize a record amount of 125 billion DH.

The 2024 tax amnesty was a great success. This operation resulted in the declaration of a total of 125 billion dirhams, distributed up to 77 billion dirhams from bank declarations, and 48 billion dirhams from declarations registered with the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) and made by 8,000 declarants, while the DGI had set itself a target of 60 billion dirhams as part of the 2024 tax amnesty.
