Tangier Train Station: When Chaos Becomes the Norm

Tangier train station is experiencing severe congestion to the point that some travelers have been unable to board their trains. Concerned by this prolonged situation, the member of parliament for the Party of Progress and Socialism in the House of Representatives, Loubna Sghiri, calls on the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil, to take urgent measures.

During a parliamentary question session, Loubna Sghiri questioned the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil, on the various dysfunctions, disorder and high crowds observed at the Tangier train station, at the height of the city’s tourist activity. “Travelers at the Tangier train station, who are hoping for a calm and comfortable journey, find themselves plunged into an ocean of crowds and confusion. The day begins at the station with long, tangled queues, where travelers wait their turn to obtain information or change a ticket. The congestion is not limited to the halls, it also extends to the train platform, which creates a chaotic situation,” said the PPS elected official.
