Tangier: towards new demolitions?

Reports from some state services indicate serious violations of urban planning rules in the Wilaya of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region. Major real estate developers in the city of Tangier are allegedly involved in these irregularities and could see their properties demolished.

According to these reports prepared by the wilaya services, several construction projects have been launched in the city of Tangier, in violation of urban planning rules, including the issuance of building permits. Sources told Hespress that these violations were committed under the mandate of the previous Wali and involve several real estate magnates in the city.
