Summer holidays: Moroccans’ favorite places revealed

Many Moroccans took advantage of the summer season to travel within the kingdom or abroad. How did they organize themselves and what were their favorite destinations?

According to a survey by Sunergia, Tangier tops the list of cities most visited by Moroccan tourists in summer. 38% of respondents said that the city of the Strait is the preferred destination for Moroccans during the summer season, ahead of Marrakech (33%), Agadir (26%), Tetouan (22%), Casablanca (12%), Rabat (10%) and Al Hoceima (9%).
