Strict conditions for teaching in the private sector in Morocco
The Ministry of National Education recently authorized public teachers to give additional lessons in the private sector, under certain conditions. To make ends meet, these teachers will have to obtain prior authorization and respect a strict framework.
Mohamed Saâd BerradaMinister of National Education, detailed the procedure to follow. Teachers wishing to hold multiple positions must submit an authorization request before the end of June, then a second before the end of September of each school year. No question of going it alone: additional teaching is prohibited without official authorization, in unauthorized establishments, and cannot exceed eight hours per week. In addition, teachers will only be able to give lessons in their specialist subject and at a level equivalent to that which they teach in the public sector.
