Stellantis leaves Spain for Morocco

Morocco aims to double its vehicle production capacity. It will be able to count on Stellantis, which plans to relocate production of the Citroën C4 and C4 X, currently carried out in Spain, to its Kénitra factory.

According to the French media The argusStellantis will stop producing the Citroën C4 and C4 X models in 2027 at its Villaverde factory in Madrid. From this deadline, its Kenitra factory in Morocco will begin to produce these models. But in the meantime, the Villaverde plant will continue to produce the new-style C4, recently presented at the Paris Motor Show.
