Spain: Nine arrests thanks to the intervention of the Moroccan DGST

The Spanish Civil Guard announced on Friday the dismantling, in coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) of Morocco, of a terrorist cell affiliated with Daesh. In total, nine people were arrested.

“This operation, carried out in cooperation between the intelligence service of the Civil Guard and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance in Morocco, made it possible to identify and neutralize the danger coming from a group of young people who had been indoctrinated by the most violent extremist ideology of the terrorist organization Daesh,” the Civil Guard said in a statement published on Friday.
