Spain concerned about Moroccan drones

Morocco will begin to produce on site, with the support of Israel, kamikaze drones like the SpyX, developed by the company Bluebird Aero Systems. The acquisition of this Israeli technology by the kingdom scares Spain.

Since the normalization of their relations in 2020, within the framework of the Abraham Accords under the aegis of the United States, Morocco and Israel have strengthened their military cooperation. According to several Spanish media, Morocco is preparing to launch the local production of Israeli SpyX drones, a drone that has a range of 50 kilometers, a flight autonomy of 90 minutes, an attack precision of one meter, an impact speed of 250 km / h and a 100% electric engine. Currently, Morocco has 233 drones and the acquisition of this new technology makes it the second drone power in Africa, behind Egypt.
