Solar panel scam in France: €50,000 fine for a Moroccan call center

A call center based in Casablanca was fined heavily for carrying out a campaign of illegal cold calling among many residents of the Lyon region.

Posing as an “RGE design office” mandated by the government, the operators of Ben-Mensah Call promised individuals assistance with the installation of solar panels after examining their invoices.
