Sofyan Amrabat reveals why he chose Fenerbahçe

Transferred from Manchester United to Fenerbahce for a year on a loan with an option to buy at the end of the summer transfer window, the Moroccan international Sofiane Amrabat revealed during his press presentation that he decided to join the Turkish club because of coach José Mourinho.

“He is the ‘Special One’… If Mourinho wants you, it is very difficult to say no. Mourinho is a winner, I am a winning player. I think we will do good things together. We will fight until the last second to win the championship,” Amrabat said during his presentation to the press, expressing his joy “to join a prestigious club like Fenerbahçe.”
