Seville: Abandoned Moroccan Pavilion Vandalized
Abandoned, the Moroccan Pavilion, one of the emblematic buildings built for the 1992 Expo in Seville, was recently vandalized. Two individuals were arrested as the alleged perpetrators of this act.
The property was abandoned and lacked security at night. Until last March, it was the headquarters of the Department of Parks and Gardens. A year and a half ago, the Seville City Council handed over this Moroccan Pavilion to the Pablo de Olavide University with the aim of developing a social, cultural and academic center with an international vocation. But the building has remained unoccupied since then, reports ABC of Seville.
