Sebta: soldiers on a “deterrence” mission but without ammunition

The Spanish government sent soldiers without ammunition and equipment to Ceuta, not far from the border with Morocco, a few months ago to carry out a surveillance and deterrence mission. An act that has caused a stir within the Spanish army.

In the images of this mission shared on social networks by the Defense General Staff, three soldiers from the Ceuta Tactical Group are seen, armed with their weapons, patrolling the autonomous city. According to experts who analyzed these images, the weapons kept by the agents did not have ammunition and they did not carry any on their belts either. The images also show a military vehicle, an old Anibal Santana that has shown its limits, according to the experts.
