Scam in Fez: carpets sold to two Colombian tourists for 760,000 dirhams

After the American tourists, two Colombian tourists were recently victims of fraud in the city of Fez. They filed a complaint and an investigation is open.

The Colombian tourists filed a complaint via the Colombian embassy in Morocco with the competent public prosecutor’s office, in which they explain having paid around 760,000 dirhams for the purchase and shipping of four carpets. An investigation has been opened to shed light on this matter.
