Ryanair was indeed threatened by Morocco
Questioned on the “repercussions of the sale of tickets for domestic flights in foreign currencies by the private airline Ryanair”, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil, recognized that the Irish low-cost airline did not respect the terms of the license which was granted to it last November.
Ryanair did not respect the conditions of sale of tickets for domestic flights in local currency (dirham), although it had undertaken to do so when granting the license which it was granted on November 24 2023 to connect 9 Moroccan airports, said Abdeljalil in his response to a written question from Driss Sentissi, head of the Popular Movement parliamentary group.
