Ryanair sells tickets for non -existent flights to Morocco
Passengers from Dole Jura airport in Tavaux, specializing in low cost flights to Morocco and Portugal, are angry with Ryanair. And for good reason, the company sold them tickets while the Jura airport will be closed from May 26 to July 11 to redo the aircraft track.
“We reserved from June 11 to 20, 2025. I called Ryanair when I learned the closure of the airport. I was told that the closings dates were not official, that the activity was maintained and that I will be reimbursed if it did not take off, ”explains to France 3 Franche-Comté Cédric Ivanès, a resident of the Jura who reserved two round trip tickets from the Jura airport to Marrakech. While he has already reserved accommodation and leisure activities in Morocco, he does not know if he will fly to Marrakech on June 11. “We are planted, we had reserved everything. How do we do it? We looked at to start from another airport, it’s far too expensive. We have no solution. We are not offered anything, ”deplores Ivanès.
